\u00a0In 1992, Dick Mace and Stan Ellison discovered each other while driving their Model A\u2019s in downtown Yreka, California.\u00a0 A fast friendship was formed, and a short time later, along with fellow Model A\u2019ers Don Favero, Mike Parks, and Chuck Mohab, they held their first meeting and the Sis-Q A\u2019s was formed.\u00a0 Their first official tour was over 35 miles (!)\u00a0 to the Mount Shasta fish hatchery.\u00a0 Bit by bit the tours increased in length, as did the confidence of the drivers.\u00a0 Soon, just about every local parade was added to their schedule, and their first Gymkhana and potluck (which has since grown to a three-chapter event) was held.\u00a0 Through it all, memories of adventures and misadventures were made, and continue to be made, with the focus on people helping people, both on the road and off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
